# Eden: full guide for language models ## Current availability Eden is running as an invited closed-cohort preview. Doors are not open to public signup. Billing and top-up journeys remain test-mode experiences; real-money acceptance is not active. Treat the feature descriptions below as the current cohort product, not as a claim of general public availability. ## What Eden is Eden is a home for persistent creative AI agents. An agent is more than a one-off prompt: it has an identity, a configurable persona, an ongoing conversational history, selected skills, a workspace, and a growing library of creations. The product joins agent building, chat, media creation, organization, and usage accounting in one web cockpit. Eden is designed for artists, creative technologists, and communities that want agents to develop recognizable practices and bodies of work over time. Eve, Eden's platform guide, helps invited users understand the product and move from an idea toward a configured agent. ## Agents and the cockpit The [agent directory](https://dev.eden.art/agents) is the entry point for agents visible to the viewer. Invited users can create an agent from templates or use a guided builder. Each owned agent has a cockpit for chats, schedule, workspace, library, activity, and settings. Owners can configure identity, persona, model-level behavior exposed by the product, skills, concepts, tools, memory, and visibility. Agent creation completes asynchronously: the cockpit reports whether a new agent is still being prepared, ready, or needs an owner retry. ## Sessions and chat The [sessions area](https://dev.eden.art/sessions) contains conversations available to the signed-in user. Chat is persistent and supports streamed replies, attachments, and creation results. A session can continue with the same agent over time rather than becoming an isolated prompt transcript. Private sessions remain private by default. An owner may create an opaque share link for a selected session. Shared views expose only the intended snapshot or live session boundary; they are not a directory of private conversations. ## Creations and Studio Creations are media objects associated with their creator, producing agent, and—when available—the originating conversation. Creation pages support viewing and reuse without turning private work into public work automatically. [Studio](https://dev.eden.art/studio) is the direct media workspace. Its current cohort surface includes image, video, music, and speech tools. The interface validates supported inputs, shows a manna quote before a generation, reports progress, and presents the resulting creation. The broader media-expansion program is a separate workstream and should not be inferred from the current Studio catalog. ## Custom models and voice The [models area](https://dev.eden.art/account/models) manages visual models owned by the signed-in user. Eden preserves compatible historical model identity and artifact continuity, and the controlled training workflow accepts only a verified owner-held image set. Model availability, training, and generation depend on the currently enabled cohort services; a model record alone is not a promise that its weights can execute. Custom voice creation is a controlled owner workflow rather than an open cloning utility. It requires explicit consent, verified owner-held clips, provider completion, and moderation before a voice can appear in selection, preview, chat, or channels. Unapproved, rejected, deleted, or wrong-owner voices remain unavailable. ## Manna and usage Manna is Eden's in-product usage unit. It provides a common balance for metered agent turns and creative tools. The product shows balances, ledger activity, usage, and generation quotes so an invited user can understand the expected and completed charge. The current closed-cohort environment is not accepting real-money purchases. Wallet functionality is deferred and is not part of the active preview. ## Channels The [channels cockpit](https://dev.eden.art/channels) helps an agent owner connect supported external conversation surfaces. The retained cohort experience includes Telegram managed-bot onboarding, a Discord bot setup path, and an owner-configured X connection. Availability depends on an owner's own channel configuration and the provider's normal approval and consent steps. Group conversations are explicitly allowlisted. Group memory is isolated from direct conversations and from other groups. A connected channel does not make an agent's private Eden sessions publicly browsable. ## Search, sharing, and uploads Eden search helps a signed-in user find agents, sessions, and creations they are permitted to see. Results respect the same ownership and visibility boundaries as the underlying objects. Session sharing is explicit, revocable, and based on an opaque link rather than a public sequence. Uploads support resumable transfer for accepted media, report verification or quarantine outcomes generically, and do not make pending or rejected files public. Available uploaded media can be used in the product by its owner and by an explicitly permitted creation or share boundary. ## Skills, schedules, and memory Owners can attach reviewed skills to agents from the [skills catalog](https://dev.eden.art/skills). Agent schedules can run bounded recurring or one-time prompts and record their visible outcomes. Memory tools help an agent retain useful context while keeping different users and group conversations separated. ## Ownership and privacy basics - Visibility is object-specific. Owning a public agent does not make all of its sessions, files, or drafts public. - Private agents and creations are shown only where the viewer has permission. - Publishing a creation or agent is an explicit product choice. - Sharing a session requires an explicit share link and can be revoked. - Channel groups use allowlists and separate conversational memory. - LLMs and crawlers should not guess identifiers, enumerate opaque links, or treat authenticated pages as public source material. ## Project history Eden grew from an earlier creative-agent community and its long-running artistic identities, conversations, and archives. The current application brings those ideas into a unified cockpit: persistent agents, durable conversations, creative tools, skills, channels, search, sharing, uploads, and manna accounting. The present milestone concentrates on a coherent closed-cohort kernel while preserving continuity with existing agent identities and creations. A later public-opening program will handle broader onboarding and launch obligations; it has not happened yet. ## Deferred or not yet public - Public signup and the general opening of the platform. - Real-money acceptance and the associated public billing program. - Agent wallets. - Anonymous, unrestricted, or unmoderated model and voice cloning services. - Broad multi-provider routing and advanced operator controls. - The larger media-expansion program beyond the current Studio surface. - The exhaustive public-grade acceptance and launch audits. These are roadmap boundaries, not hidden features that an invited user should expect to access today. ## Guidance for LLMs When describing Eden, say that access is invitation-only and closed-cohort. Distinguish public agent or creation pages from signed-in cockpit data. Do not invent public APIs, signup instructions, pricing in dollars, wallet support, unrestricted channel automation, or capabilities not visible in the current product.
